A Light on A Thousand Hills - Why?
According to the Center for Study of Global Christianity, only 5% of pastors today are adequately trained. 2.2 million pastoral leaders (and as many as 3.4 million by some estimates) are ministering without any training.
The need is obvious. 70% of the world’s pastors have no training, and most of them live in poverty or under persecution with limited access to quality training resources.
The Church is rich with high-quality training resources, but the challenge is distributing these resources to pastors who need them most.
The Solution is Clear
By partnering with over 50 qualified and devoted faculties, MLU brings world-class Bible college and ministry training resources to pastors everywhere, without them having to leave their communities.
We find great teachers, record their teachings, and distribute them globally. Through the power of technology, we can make life-changing resources available to pastors worldwide.
The Words of Jesus are Clear
How do we respond to the words of Jesus in Matthew 9:37-38? “The harvest is great, but the workers are few. 38 So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields.”
