Speaker: Merrill Tenney

Description: Dr. Merrill Tenney uses these four lessons to convey how the Gospel makes the Christian different, and how it brings to him a life of fellowship with Christ, humility and peace within and towards others. Dr. Tenney was a former Pastor and also served as Dean of the Graduate School of Theology at Wheaton College. Dr. Tenney is now with the Lord.

There are 4 lessons in this course.

Lesson 1

Dr. Merrell Tenney introduces the helpful book of Philippians. This book is very personal and really encourages the believer in his walk with Christ and how to live out true Christianity with other Believers.

Lesson 2

Lesson two conveys the important essence of Phillippians 2, humility. What is genuine humility? How can we have it and what will it look like in our lives?

Lesson 3

In this study Dr. Tenney shares three of Paul’s greatest desires. For what true purpose has God saved me? Has God called me to suffering? What will this mean in my life?

Lesson 4

The Gospel will produce several things in our lives, what are they? Paul teaches about the rights and privileges believers receive. This lesson will give guidance on how to joyfully handle the tough stuff that will barge into our lives.
