Morgan pastored at the famous Westminster Chapel. He traveled extensively and spoke in conferences throughout the British Empire and the United States. He authored numerous commentaries. He went home to heaven in 1945.

Lesson 1

Matthew 13. This lesson looks at the parables of Jesus dealing with the kingdom of heaven.

Lesson 2

Matthew 13:3-9, 18-30, 36-43. This lesson looks at the parable of the sower and the parable of the tares. What is Jesus teaching us about the kingdom through these parables?

Lesson 3

Matthew 13:31-33. This lesson looks at how the kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed and leaven.

Lesson 4

Matthew 13:44-46. How valuable is the kingdom to you? We see the parable of the hidden treasure and the pearl of great price in this lesson.

Lesson 5

Matthew 13:47-52. The parables of the net and the treasures. What benefit is it to learn about the Kingdom of God?

Lesson 6

Matthew 13:53 – 14:22. This lesson looks at some of the hard times of Jesus ministry. Jesus rejection in Nazareth and the death of John the Baptist.

Lesson 7

Matthew 14:23 – 15:20. This lesson looks at Jesus walking on the water and the traditions of men.

Lesson 8

Matthew 15:21 – 16:12. This lesson focuses on Jesus ministry to non-Jews. We see many healings and the feeding of the 4,000 in these passages.

Lesson 9

Matthew 16:13-20. This lesson looks at Peter’s confession of Jesus as the Christ and Jesus promise of the churches success in the world.

Lesson 10

Matthew 16:21 – 17:13. Jesus foretells of his death and resurrection and we see the transfiguration of Jesus.

Lesson 11

Matthew 17:14 – 18:14. We see Jesus teach more on the kingdom as he rebukes the disciples for their lack of faith. Jesus then shows us who is the greatest in the kingdom.

Lesson 12

Matthew 18:15 – 19:22. Jesus teaches principles on dealing with sin in the church. We also see Jesus heart towards children.

Lesson 13

Matthew 19:23 – 20:34. We see the rich young ruler and the difficulty for someone to turn to Jesus who has pride in themselves. We also learn a key truth through the parable of the laborers in the vineyard.

Lesson 14

Matthew 21:1-27. This lesson looks at Jesus triumphal entry into Jerusalem and the cleansing of the temple. Why did Jesus cleanse the temple?

Lesson 15

Matthew 21:28 – 22:14. We see three more parables by Jesus. These were against the Pharisees and their defiance of God.

Lesson 16

Matthew 22:15 – 23:15. Jesus teaches us the greatest commandment and pronounces woes against the religious leaders.

Lesson 17

Matthew 23:16 – 25. More woes against the religious leaders are pronounced. Why did Jesus speak so harshly to them?

Lesson 18

Matthew 24-25. Why does Jesus call himself the Son of Man? This lesson looks at the end times teaching that Jesus gave his disciples.

Lesson 19

Matthew 26:1-56. This lesson introduces Jesus’ last days. We see the Lord’s Supper and Judas’ betrayal in Gethsemane.

Lesson 20

Matthew 26:57 – 27:26. The trial of Jesus is seen in this lesson.

Lesson 21

Matthew 27:27 – 28:20. The crucifixion of Jesus and His resurrection.
