Dr. Howard Hendricks was Distinguished Professor and Chairman of the Center for Christian Leadership at Dallas Theological Seminary for many years and chaplain for the Dallas Cowboys NFL Football Team for 8 years. He taught and spoke in conferences and seminars in 80 countries. Dr. Hendricks is now with the Lord.

Lesson 1

In this first lesson, Dr. Hendricks introduces you to Peter’s life. You will see that he struggled and wobbled over some of the same things we do and had some areas in which he needed growth. Can you identify these areas?

Lesson 2

In lesson 2 you will learn some secrets that will unlock the truths in this whole little letter. Peter teaches us how to impact a decaying society.

Lesson 3

This lesson introduces you to two massive resources God has for you and 8 characteristics He wants to develop in you.

Lesson 4

What are the best defenses to use against false teachers and false teaching? In this lesson you will learn just how reliable the Scriptures are.

Lesson 5

What are the true motivations of false teachers? Just what do the Scriptures have to say about authority? Sensuality? Tolerance? You may be surprised.

Lesson 6

Lesson #6 gives some warnings and encouragements that will be a great help to those trying to live right in a world that is so wrong. What is the great hope Peter shares in chapters 2 & 3?
