Lesson 1

This lessons gives an introduction to the Epistle to the Romans. Was it to all people in Rome or just believers there? Had Paul been to Rome?

Study of Romans beginning with chapter 3. Outward profession means nothing unless it goes to the heart.

Beginning with chapter 5, Paul is telling us how a person gets to be right before God.

In Romans 6, Paul shows us what follows having faith in Christ and the blessings He brings to the believer.

In Romans 7, Paul teaches that the Law is good, but we are not, so it shows us our need of Christ.

In Romans 8, Paul is teaching us that since He raised Christ from the dead, He can raise us as believers from our fleshly desires. We’re no longer under obligation to the flesh.

Beginning in Romans 12 we see that Christian believers are to give our bodies as living sacrifices to God. Is this a simple and easy thing for us to do?

Beginning with Romans 12:16 we see that if we follow Paul’s guidance, we will demonstrate what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

In Chapter 13 verse 7 and onward, we see further instruction for Christian living, specifically dealing with the believer’s relationship with authority.

Further instructions to Christian believers concerning yielding ourselves to God. Beginning with the fourteenth chapter, let each believer stand before God and do what God wants us to do. How does my conduct appear before others?

Lesson 14

This concluding chapter of Romans, chapter 16, as well as the final lesson in our study, shows us that Paul didn’t forget his friends in Christ. How should we respond to our friends in Christ?
