Description: These 10 lessons by Dr. John Whitcomb preview the importance of the first 10 chapters of Genesis. He covers numerous topics that have their roots in the beginning of time and are of extreme importance to this day. These topics include: a literal six day creation, the damnable lies of evolution, God’s original program and plan for man, the effects of man’s sinful fall, the profound effects of the universal Flood, and fallen angels. Dr. Whitcomb was a Professor of OT Theology for more than 50 years. He was widely recognized as a leading theologian and young earth creationist. He passed away in 2020.

There are 10 lessons in this course.

Lesson 1

Genesis 1 and 2. The days of Genesis and theories of creation. How do we know they are literal 24 hour days? What is biblical faith?

Lesson 2

Have you ever wondered what the days of creation were like? Was everything created looking full grown? This lesson looks more in-depth into the days of creation.

Lesson 3

Have you ever wondered about dinosaurs and the Bible? This lesson looks at what the Bible and evolutionist teach about dinosaurs.

Lesson 4

What was the World like before sin? What will it be like after Christ’s Return? This lesson also covers mankind’s dominion of the Earth.

Lesson 5

Genesis 3:16-17. Why did God create Adam and Eve and then give them the choice to sin? this lesson covers the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil and the test that was necessary for Adam and Eve. The differences of the first humans and us are also discussed.

Lesson 6

Will you take Genesis seriously? How will you answer before Christ? This lesson covers the evolution of mankind and genetics. Also, how the Tower of Babel affected mankind.

Lesson 7

How did God walk and talk with Adam in the Garden? This lesson looks at the curse of the fall and its effects on mankind and the earth. We also see the first prophecy of Christ.

Lesson 8

Where did Cain get his wife? How did Noah build the Ark? The generations of Adam and the evil in the pre-flood world are discussed. The biblical text covering the flood and the Ark are also taught.

Lesson 9

How did the animals and Noah survive in the ark for a year? What happened to the earth during the flood? This lesson continues with the Genesis Flood and those who reject it.

Lesson 10

Why are there sea creatures on the top of mountains? This lesson looks at more evidence for the flood, such as the Grand Canyon, and how a vapor canopy would have affected the earth. It closes with a look at the Tower of Babel.
