Description: Well known Bible teacher and scholar, Dr. Charles Ryrie, teaches five sessions from the book of First Corinthians. Dr. Charles Ryrie is Professor of Systematic Theology at Dallas Seminary, Editor of the Ryrie Study Bible, respected author and scholar.

There are 5 lessons in this course.

Lesson 1

This book is actually a letter to the church of Corinth which faced numerous problems and very similar to what our churches today are seeing. What should a church do if it has division over issues and personalities?

Lesson 2

What is Church discipline? Does this insinuate that people today should be put out of Church fellowship? This lesson also addresses how to go about “cleaning up” the sin problems in a church.

Lesson 3

Dr. Ryrie goes through chapter 7 which is the most extensive passage in Scripture on marriage, divorce, and singleness.

Lesson 4

How are we to know how far we should go with Christian liberty? What is God’s leadership order for the home and church? Dr. Ryrie cover’s these topics and others in this lesson.

Lesson 5

This lesson deals with the different spiritual gifts God gave to the church. Do the same gifts apply to the churches in our era as they did in Paul’s? How have some gifts changed in function?
