10700 Old Testament Prophecies Of Christ (Level 3)

Lesson 1

Dr. Whitcomb introduces the study of Christ in the OT. Are you aware there is more information on Christ in the OT than there is in the 4 Gospels in the NT? Are you aware the Lord Jesus called 2 of His disciples fools for not believing all that the OT prophets had spoken of Him?

Lesson 2

In this lesson Dr. Whitcomb teaches that Abraham was Divinely appointed to be the progenitor from whom Jesus Christ would come. The OT describes for us that one day every nation of the world will bow in acknowledgment to Jesus’ kingship. There are numerous references to Christ in the book of Psalms.

Lesson 3

The book of Isaiah in the OT has numerous references to Christ. You may be surprised at some of the names by which Isaiah describes Christ. John the Baptist quoted Isaiah in the NT and he actually expected to see Christ’s kingdom in his life time.

Lesson 4

Dr. Whitcomb concludes this study on the OT prophecies of Jesus in the OT by acquainting you with the truth that 3 different prophets prophesied Jesus would be pierced. How did they know this 700 years before it happened? There is one verse in Isaiah that could be called the John 3:16 of the OT, do you know what verse this is?
