10300 Doctrine Of Angels (Level 3)

Lesson 1

In eternity past, God decided to have a Kingdom in which He would rule as sovereign King. God created angels primarily to serve Him in the heavenly kingdom. There is much information in the Bible concerning angels, and this course will give us just some of tat information.

Lesson 2

There is much interest lately about angels, but much of what is being published and promoted today about angels is connected with the New Age Movement. We must go to the Bible to learn the truth about angels. Angels are created beings. The descriptions in Colossians 1:16, “thrones, dominions, principalities, and powers” refer to angelic beings. Every angel was created directly and individually by God. Angels do not have families like man. Is there a precise statement in the Bible that tells us when angels were created?

Lesson 3

This study deals with the origin and fall of Satan. We go to Ezekiel 28. Isaiah 14 also relates to our subject. The exalted cherub, Satan, was filled with the sin of pride in his heart. There are now two major classes of angels.

Lesson 4

This lesson helps us learn about fallen angels. The fallen angels are divided into two sub-groups. One group is free to roam and the second group is imprisoned. One of the sins for which God doomed the “confined angels” was they left the domain where God had assigned them to live.

Lesson 5

This study deals with the activities of the holy angels. They are very busy, and have many activities, including activities toward nations. Michael, a holy archangel, has been assigned to Israel to help them. Angels are also involved in church services today. God uses the Church as an object lesson for the angels to teach them aspects of His wisdom that they could never learn otherwise.
