30700 Nehemiah (Level 2)

Lesson 1

Nehemiah 1. The crisis and commission of Nehemiah. We see in this lesson God’s blueprint and principles for serving Him effectively. We also learn of our enemy and our resources to defeat him.

Lesson 2

Nehemiah 2. The rebuilding of the walls of Jerusalem. We learn of the importance of trusting in the ultimate resources that we have in God as we pray according to God’s will and promises. Nehemiah also shows us good leadership principles.

Lesson 3

This lesson continues to look at the difficulties that Nehemiah and the people had facing the enemies of God. We see how Satan blinds people from the truth and the importance of both prayer and preparation. From the life of Nehemiah we also learn more leadership skills and how to handle difficult situations when they arise.

Lesson 4

What is the greatest thing to be feared in the work of God? This lesson looks at the enemy’s strategy of demotivation and demoralization. We learn that internal stresses and pressures, not external, are more often the key to failure.

Lesson 5

As we finish the course this lesson gives us some Divine realism to face the facts of life. We see that no matter how great the victory, the enemy can still sneak into our midst. The whole sacrificial system and temple was a constant reminder of God’s unique message on human sin and Divine holiness.
